Amazing prices, very affordable! Purple queen I feel for you too, you must have been in on a bad day because I find customer service there is Great! Theres a European girl with black long hair on the till who is always so bubbly, smiley and gives great customer service and yes also lady with blond hair too.
Assume that is the one purple queen is talking about. I normally get there in the morning to avoid the rush and its great. Kepp up the great work Why Knot!
Purple Queen I so feel for you, I too expect good manners at the very least.. I went in there for the 1st time last week and was blown away by the prices and product, I have 5 kids or 6 if you include husband lol.. Lets hope : 4. Awesome place to shop and a great line of products at decent prices. Only draw back was some of the staff. We had asked about a price that had been taken off the box of a product and was promptly told to read the box even though we had explained it was missing.
The worker did not even bother to come and see if it was true. Thankfully a lovely young girl was kind enough to get it checked and even counted the products in the said box for us.
Hopefully management will see similar comments and help staff become more approachable. A smile and helpful manner goes along way. This is a great place to get a bargain and we shop there often, always on weekends. However, the car park and premises generally could be spruced up to make the shopping more pleasant - bargain basement doesn't have to mean down-market. There always seem to be stacks of used pallets in the carpark area and there was quite a lot of litter drink cans lying around last time we were there.
Checkout staff were friendly but more tills were needed to cope with the volume of customers on a busy Saturday afternoon. It would be good to see the place get a bit of a make-over! In these tight financial times shoping at Why Knots gets you very good products at very good prices, an excellent way to feed the family at reduced prices which leaves you with extra money to pay the bills.
Tipene 4. Jazz8 1 review. This is a great place to get discounted lollies, frozen meals, yoghurt, pizza etc. General convenience food. They do have milk, eggs and bread. There are most things you get at the Supermarket. Somethings are a lot cheaper, some are the same and others are a bit more expensive. You have to know your supermarket prices so that you can get the things that are cheaper there and leave the more expensive things to get cheaper else where. Tell me what supermarket has such a good deal.
Be prepared to be tempted as there are lots of yummy not so good for you foods at very good prices. They are very busy but try to get people through the check outs as quick as they can. A great place to shop, great selection of products at great prices.
I go every week to shop at Why Knots. AggieM 1 review. Mistysiva 1 review. Very affordable and If it wasnt for this place we would be eating rice and noodles every week. The only downer to this place is the customer service.
I know that they are busy alot but they should consider the needs of their customers and try taking their whole staff through a customer service course where they teach them how to do their job properly and smile.
But thank yous any way for these cheap prices 2. One man making it easier for us all to get food at a cheaper price. Good on you I have always found the staff to be very helpful. Anne 4. Taza 2 reviews. Love this shop!! PurpleQueen 1 review. These 2 are on my weekly rounds. Great bargains to be had. What is the address of theCadbury factory shop?
Never heard of it! What is the address of Best Before Store? Gotten some great bargains from here. Its of Rosscommon Rd at the back of Manukau. Great bargains for mixed bags of sausages, they also do Saturday mornings. Any one know the address of the hellers seconds? I always take the kids to KiwiIcecream factory shop in Easttamaki to get icecream on a cone and its the best place to get party foods and sweets etc. The other stores are all tiny and don't have much to choose from.
Plus why knot have icecream, all the frozen products, milk, yoghurt, great cheese and all the cadbury and chips and lollies, i always buy too much.
Dont't go on saturday tho as it is absolutely full of people. There is something similar in Henderson, west Auckland - sorry don't know the name, but it is in the same precinct as the K-mart.
Its the same as other reduced to clear stores, really depends each week as to whats a good deal or not. They aslo serve really good fresh coffees! If you are looking for good quality meats there is also a factory shop called ' Staff cuts' which is at portage rd, Otahuhu. Really good prices for a fraction of what you'd pay in the supermarkets!. Cheap as. Are there any of these types of shops in Hamilton? There is an awesome shop in Whangarei. It is located on Walton Street, by the big round-about.
They are open Mon-Fri 9. There are some great bargains of food, and they have clothes, hardware, fishing gear, gifts, stationery, kitchenware. Definately worth a noesy.
